For those of you fortunate to not live in liberal California, here is a look at the crazy corners in Simi Valley. Last night was our last push and our whole ward showed up to give it a last big support. We have a great ward that supports all activities! Pray for us!

Halloween 08

It has been a busy Halloween! The kids had lots of fun and have bags of candy that they have hid so I can't throw it away! Julie was a pirate and Nick a ninja. I have to give their constumes away each year because they grow out of them and no more little ones to share!

Tim's Weekly Email

I love Monday's because Tim writes home. This week he is very upbeat and he has just had a once in a life time experience of Killing chickens with a family. He had a baptism on Saturday and another 3 this week.

Homecoming

It is hard to believe that we have another child in their senior year of high school. Lindsey had her last homecoming dance this weekend and she looked beautiful in her modest dress. She had lots of fun with her group of girlfriends and had an early breakfast at Denny's afterwards. I feel like I just went to homecoming. Funny thing is my high school reunion is this next weekend and I will see my date from homecoming. It has been fun catching up with friends from high school.

Halloween Party

So I told Nick and Julie they could have a halloween party this year and I had to follow through. It could not have been more crazy but we pulled it off and the kids had fun. Before the party the bounce house arrived early in the morning and Matt decided it would be fun to unzip the side and bounce Nick out. The effects were that he fell out and hit his eye on the rock in our front yard and still has a black eye. Yes, picture day was this week also. So we can forever remember Nick's black eye.
